The dificulties that might appear when dating of marrying someone from a different culture are:
* The things that they like will be different, that's why they could have discussions when deciding the places to have dates.
* The most probable thing would be that they will have different opinions about certain topics, which can become a problem in the case that these aren't respected by the other.
* Their religious beliefs will be different and this could represent a great difficulty. That's why they should be willing to accept the other's beliefs.
* Their families probably won't accpet this relationship because they could consider that the both are too different, so they might try to end it.
* When the relationship has advanced, the both will want to stablish their homes iin their homeland, and during this situation the differences between the both could be reflected.
* When raising a child, the way of rising him or her could be a serious problem due to disagreements in the religious beliefs and habits that will be taught to their son or daughter.

Palenque and Alvin Ailey Dance Company
Since this two groups have African roots they have a variety of things in common. For example, the music of the both is performed essentially with an intensive use of drums, but the Alvin Ailey Dance Company also adds use of othe percussion instruments. Alvin Ailey's music also is influenced by other kinds of music like big band jazz. Their dances compliment the music. The choreographies are very expressive, but Alvin's company makes it very artistic and has other influences, while in Palenque it remains very traditional becacuse they tend to keep their ancestral roots.

Holidays in Other Countries
I think that on these sites was used English, due to it's a language that is currently handled by many people because of it great access, either through a course in progress or just because it makes part of our daily lives. This can be checked to see it present on names of different products and stores. It would be difficult for these sites to share their information if they publish it in their native languages, which leads them to use the English language.
I have learned from these sites that traditions are very important for every kind of culture and they're are proud of them. Each one have a strongest belief for these ones, so they make them part of their lives and celebrate these with a lot of enthusiasm.

Personal Culture
I love listening to music. Music is a really good company during my free time. Although, I don’t have a specific genre, I do have a specific style of music.
I prefer songs that talks about sad love histories because I like the lyrics and the melody produce by the instruments. With this type of music I enjoy of a lot of calm and it makes me feel emotional.
In spite of that, I also like songs that make me feel excited because of its catchy rhythm.
My favorite songs and artists are:
* Fix you – Coldplay
* How to save a life – The Fray
* Livin’ on a prayer -Bon Jovi
* I won’t give up – Jason Mraz

Economic Empowerment for Women
I would lend money to Martha because I consider
that she has stable incomes due to her solid customer base. So, it’s something
sure that I will receive my money back.
Also, I think that is a good opportunity to contribute with her business project in order to expand it and respond to the demand.

Kenyan Matatu Drivers
Matatu drivers were treated in a bad way during his experience with BBC by both the police and their fellow country men. Police officers were rude with them because they were just trying to get money out of them, that's why they stopped them so many times. And to make things worse, their own fellows were judging them because they were helping people from BBC with the shooting and this was really embarrasing for the Matatu drivers.
People has a negative opinion about mototaxistas because they think that they don't respect laws, specially traffic ones, and that they are all thieves. Maybe in relation with religion people doesn't have the same prejudgement that Kenyans have about Matatu drivers. However, they live the same situation with police officers, due to they also are stopped frequently accused for false infractions to take money from them.

Racism against Afrocolombians
The situation about Afro people is really worrying because it's incredible that after so long, racial segregation is still present in our society. The percentages with respect to poverty, unemployment and young people that go to college are alarming.
It's necessary for people to understand that we can't define others by the color of their skin. This isn't a big sacrifice, it's just to accept others as they are without stereotypes.Only with this, we will make a great progress in our society that would bring many benefits.

FAVORITE Carnival MOMENTS
One of the features that represents me is that I'm an introvert person. I like much more the idea of staying at home watching TV than go to events or parties. That's why I don't consider carnival as part of my culture, however, I think that the events are really interesting.
Due to all these, my favorite moments during these days don't have any relation with carnival. So, I would say that those moments were sleep a longer time every morning and on Monday when I met with my friends to see movies.

Tuareg Culture
1. It’s noticeable that Tuareg people are very ritualistic, spiritual, methodic and passionate. By the video it’s evident that for them, drinking tea makes part of their tradition and has a maybe spiritual meaning.
2. This video gives an idea of how Tuareg culture may be, it transmits a peaceful
feeling, shows their kind of clothing, rhythms and language. With the
help of the translation it was possible to understand the lyrics that represent
their culture
that is very different from ours and open our mind to new things.
Barranquilla, capital of culture 2013
Barranquilla was chosen as the American Capital of Culture 2013 by the Bureau Internacional de Capitales Culturales. One of the most influential decisions why this decision was taken is that the president of that entity was really impressed with the city because it shows the importance of its culture, but most of all, by the positivism of the city and its international projection.
The text doesn’t specifically mention whether Barranquilla will receive the expected economic benefits, however, it may be that because of this recognition the city will have the opportunity to get these, since it will be possible to promote it internationally through agreements that the Burear has with the channels Antena 3 and Discovery Networks, which can cause a great impact on foreign countries allowing the development of potential economic opportunities.
Two worlds collide
1. We can appreciate two different
point of views in this history. On one side is the black man, who don’t have an
easy life because he has to work really hard to meet their needs, but he's used
to it due to he don´t know anything else, he thinks that the white consider him
as an insignificant person, but he’s just trying to do all that he can to get
any help. On the other side is the white man, who counts with a much better
lifestyle than the black man because he don’t have to deal with the same kind
of problems that the black men due to he has a good economic situation, so he
thinks that the black man is trying to disturb him and at the same time take
advantage of him.
2.
* Both persons grow up in different conditions, that’s why they are separated by a lot of categories like class, education, culture and language, so they couldn’t resolve their differences because these were many and they were unable to reach mutual agreement in spite of how much they talk.
* They don’t have to deal with the same everyday situations, what makes really difficult that they understand to each other.
